School will be normal for everyone else on Mon & Wed and all students are expected to attend. Conferences already started but it's not too late to sign up. Please look at the day/times available and sign up for your child's conference. Students are welcome to attend but are not required to. I really enjoy conferences as it gives me time talk about how wonderful your kids are :) http://gatewayacademy.weebly.com/ Upcoming events: Next Friday, October 21, students do not have school but if your child would like extra time on the computer, have him/her contact me and see about coming in for part of the day. Monday, October 24, we are having speakers from Borgess Hospital's Think First program coming at 1:00 to address brain and spinal cord injuries. Parents are welcome to addend. Wednesday, October 26, Jazz musician Keith Hall will give a performance from 12:30-1:30. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join us. Monday, October 31, Gateway students will have the opportunity to have their vision screened. This will take place at the MIDDLE SCHOOL, FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. All students need to go to the MS before coming to Gateway. Students who drive should come to the MS, do the screening, then drive to Gateway. Parents that drop off students should drop them off at the MS; we will have a bus bring all students to Gateway after the screening is completed. Progress reports will be handed out at your conference and will not be send home today.
