Gateway Academy is proud to announce that Macie Marklin has finished the requirements for graduation! Macie joined us this year and worked very hard to complete her requirements. Macie is looking to enter the health care field. Thanks to a very generous donor, the students of Gateway Academy had the opportunity to spend the day at the Sherman Lake YMCA. Students had the opportunity to push themselves by attempting the climbing wall and trying out the giant swing. We also participated in team building activities and an affirmation event. Thank you so much to the Gull Lake Area Lions Club for their donation to Gateway Academy. These funds will help us with our Healthy Living program and help provide healthy lunches and snacks for our students. Your thoughtfulness and generosity is greatly appreciated!
The staff and students of Gateway Academy congratulate Brendan Barnett as he finishes his studies at Gateway! Brendan will be continuing his work at his family's business while continuing to college. We are very proud of all Brendan has achieved!
Jon Dezess has finished his requirements for graduation! We are proud of Jon and his accomplishments. He has worked hard to complete his classes while helping with several school projects.
The staff of Gateway Academy is proud to announce that Breshonna Moore has finished her requirements for graduation. She joins her sister, Chelsea, as a Gateway graduate. Bre has been a part of the Gateway family for several years and we will miss her very much.
Several students helped out our community by cleaning up the Richland Township Cemetery. Our students picked up old decorations, raked, cleaned headstones and helped with other projects. Each student is required to complete 20 hours of supervised community service each year. Other service opportunities include serving at the Gospel Mission, helping at the SPCA, teaching technology at the Richland Area Community Center and other projects. All students are required to have an end of year conference. Please click on the button below to reserve your time!
Today we had two students compete all of their graduation requirements. Tess Town plans on attending KVCC to study to become an electrician. Sam Allen is looking forward to opening her own equestrian facility. Both of these young ladies have worked hard to reach this point of their lives. We are so very proud of them! |
