FRiday Reports
We've had a pretty busy week, which is probably why progress report don't look that great for most of the kids. There wasn't school Friday; we had speakers from Borgess on Monday; art class Tuesday; Jazz concert Wednesday; counseling and Sherman Lake Thursday. Today, a group of kids are at the Gospel Mission. I don't give homework as students know what needs to be done for them to graduate. Many of them should be working outside of class so they can stay on track.
Don't forget that Monday, all students should go to the Middle School before coming to Gateway. We will have free vision screening available for all students. Students that ride the bus will be dropped of there and then taken to Gateway. Today, I gave students a permission form for listening to music next week. If you're ok with your child listening during the day, please sign. I am also attaching the form here so if it's lost, you can print another one. At one point today, all three teachers will be out of the building, so we have a substitute. Students are expected to behave appropriately so that Mr. Lambert will come back another time. Although Monday is Halloween, students are not permitted to dress up. I hope you all have a great weekend! We won't even talk about the football rankings as it's too depressing. Edited to add: The football rankings are almost perfect. If only someone would take out Alabama.
