FRiday Reports
I don't know about you, but for me, this seems to have been a very long school week. It could have been the testing that we did on Wednesday that took the wind out of my sails but I felt like this week was never going end!
Fortunately, we are nearing the end of our week, conferences are over, testing is done, Mrs. McQueen is settling in, and life is good. Next week is pretty busy so please encourage your child to get some work done over the weekend. Monday we will be cleaning the Richland Cemetery (weather permitting) so students need to dress appropriately. We will also continue our Digital Arts class. Tuesday our plan is to continue the Jazz class that was started last week. A part of student's grade is earned by going to the Civic Theatre on November 13 to hear a live jazz performance. After the show, we will be stopping at Ten Ten (Chinese/American restaurant in Kalamazoo). Cost for lunch will be $10 (this covers the meal, beverage, and tip). If students cannot afford the cost of lunch, please let me know and I will be glad to cover it. I will start collecting money next week...students can pay a little at a time or the whole amount at once. Wednesday, nurses from the Kalamazoo County Health Dept. will be here (see attached letter). Thursday, Dennis will be here for counseling. Friday, students have the opportunity to volunteer at the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission. Progress reports will be handed out today; many are quite impressive. Have a great weekend.
